Star Wars first appeared in theaters May 25, 1977, and have been apart of our culture since that time. One of main characters in the movie was named Obi-Wan Kenobi. He was entrusted to help the main character (Luke Skywalker) develop and understand the power that was given to him by teaching him the ways of the force. In one part of the movie they are confronted about some merchandise that has been lost in transport and when questioned by the authorities, Obi-Wan Kenobi used what is known as the Jedi Mind Trick to temporally disable the Storm Troopers ability to think for himself by telling the Storm Trooper. “These aren’t the droids you are looking for.” In response, the Storm Trooper replies back to Obi-Wan Kenobi and the other Storm Troopers, “These aren’t the droids we’re looking for.” And with a subtle swipe of his fingers, Obi-Wan Kenobi tells the Storm Trooper that they can move along. As they go forward Obi-Wan Kenobi looks to the main character (Luke Skywalker) and says, “The force can have a strong influence on the weak minded.”
The Matrix first appeared in theaters March 31, 1999, about a computer hacker recruited by a group rebels determined to free the world from the hands of a computer virus that is trying to take over the human race. To prevent the artificial intelligence from taking over the earth and destroying mankind, Morpheus is convinced that he has found the one who will put an end to the war between man and machine. However, getting the main character Neo to believe the story is the key because of his none belief to anything that cannot be explained. Morpheus tells him after the two meet, “What you know you can’t explain, but you feel it. You’ve felt it your entire life, that there’s something wrong with the world. You don’t know what it is, but it’s there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.”
It all started in his mind and it is still going on this very day. The devil stood at the tree and began using words that not only excited the woman but also invited the man to listen closely as well. The voice made its way into man’s mind that made him a buyer to what the devil was selling when he said, “you will be like God.” Meaning you will be your own god knowing everything that God knows. However, that was a lie from the father of lies and as time passed and generations began to populate in the earth the voice that once entered man’s mind that day has multiplied into voices. The demons now carry out the devil’s plan to test every individual to find those who are weak minded and keep those people in spiritual bondage preventing them from knowing the truth about God. The devil knows how to trigger the feelings, emotions, and speech of all people. When when he finds a weak mind his demons attack using their voices to lie, distract, confuse, and deny that individual from using their mind to know the truth of God’s word. The demons do all they can to carry out the devil’s plan which is to separate people from knowing the truth about God and His book called the Bible.
